The Star Inn Talybont: a CAMRA award-winning pub with great food, regular live music and a great atmosphere...

** CAMRA's Brecknockshire Pub of the Year 2009-2014 **

starsnow-with-words.jpgThe Star Inn in Talybont-on-Usk, Powys, is a Camra award-winning village pub in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park six miles from Brecon and 14 miles from Abergavenny.

Our pub garden is next to the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. We've got an ever-changing choice of real ales with B&B accommodation upstairs. Oh yes, and you'll receive a warm welcome from landlords Ian and Anna Bell too!

Our food is a cut above pub grub and we use locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. Don't forget to book as we get busy, especially on weekends and during our popular live music events.

Our opening hours

Food is normally served at the following times:

WINTER AT THE STAR: Fish Night, Pie Night, Sausage & Cider Weekend and more

EATING AT THE STAR: As well as our regular bar menu, we offer a specials menu and foodie nights
