Real ales at the Star Inn Talybont this autumn...

We've got some of these ales (pictured below) on at the moment. Ian reckons it's a cracking line-up... some of his favourites are coming up this month (November 2015).

Last year's Christmas real ales at the Star

We've thrown in a couple of Christmas ales to the mix now that the festive season is upon us. Of course we'll also be offering you the usual array of excellently-kept, brilliantly-chosen real ales that you'd expect from Ian and the gang too...

Here's some of the real ales we've got coming up:

Try our local and Welsh-made real ales and ciders at the Star this December (hurry they won't last long!)

The Star Inn's 2014 autumn beer festival runs from October 10-12

We hope you've booked a date in your diaries for our annual October beer festival. Ian's lined up 30 real ales for you to try, real ciders and live music as usual. More details about the real ales to come - watch this space.

To find out about the music we've got lined up see our What's On page.

September ales coming up at the Star Inn

We've got these beauties lined up for you - but hurry, they won't hang around long! There will be more where they came from though, so don't panic. We keep all ales in tip-top condition and there's always something new to try. Here are a selection for the end of September including Titanic's Plum Porter and Thornbridge's Kipling:

Come and try our constantly-changing range of beers at the Star Inn

We serve a constantly changing selection of real ales here at the Star (we're not CAMRA's Brecknockshire Pub of the Year for nothing you know!). Beer at the Star is always kept in the best possible way to Ian the landlord's exacting standards.

We love real ale at the Star

We take real pride in producing a great pint for real ale lovers and our range of beers is constantly changing. We now also have a pump dedicated to local beer so you'l always find an ale from Brecon Brewing on tap (new for spring 2014).

We also run regular beer festivals - in June and October - and are a firm favourite with CAMRA members (we're proud to be listed in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide) and beer fans from further afield.

In 2014 we were voted Camra's GOLD Brecknockshire Pub of the Year again. It was our sixth win in a row...

We had more than 30 real ales and six real ciders on offer, music and for the first time a stand-up comedian too. nd a
